What water treatment options are NOT effective at removing any arsenic?
The following treatments are not effective for removing any arsenic:
Boiling water (this will increase the arsenic concentration)
Ultraviolet (UV) light
Cation exchange (commonly called a water softener)
Granular activated carbon (GAC)
Aeration
Magnetic water conditioners
Water filtration pitchers (Brita, etc.)
Water filtration from the refrigerator
Sediment filter
